Promises

Now a days, the word “promise” doesn’t mean anything. Now a days, it’s just a word you use to get something that you like. Even when you know you can’t keep that promise, you promise it anyway. Yes, there are some promises that you have to break. Or maybe you promised something because you thought that you could do it at that time.
It’s different when you promise something that you did not want to break but you had too, and it’s different when you make a promise just to get something that you like.
If you did kept your promises or you do keep your promises, good for you!
What i’m saying is that, people now a days just keep on promising and promising and they don’t keep it. I hate it and it’s annoying. Knowing how and when to use the word ‘promise’ is different from knowing the meaning of the word ‘promise’.
